Support in the Community Service

 

What is Support in the Community Service? (SCS)
A support service for people who have an experience of mental illness and live in the community. This service offers personal growth, independence and recovery in mental health. It is individualised support that actively encourages and supports you to identify and reach goals.

How to access SCS

You can apply directly to MASH or be referred by:

  • your General Practitioner Doctor;
  • a health professional;
  • family/whanau or friend.

Once your application has been received you will be contacted to arrange a time to meet and discuss your needs.  Support in the Community Service is discreet and confidential.
