MASH Trust are at the start of an exciting project to create a new community space that will be a new base for our services in Horowhenua as well as being available for community use/hire. It will be a safe and inclusive space for disabled people and the community.
We are currently working with the community to develop the space within the old Levin Hospital complex near HLC with a focus on the future to ensure it will be fit for purpose and fit for the future.
We have been engaging with the community for input into what the space will look like and how spaces are used.

The name Te Puna Rau Aroha was gifted to the space by Muaūpoko Tribal Authority. It refers to the place where love, respect, courage, safety, and sharing is what really matters. A place and space where the essential vitality and life force of individuals, whānau and the community is nurtured, cared for, cared about. Where we can work and play together to reach for our dreams and our potential, and where everyone can thrive.

Te Puna Rau Aroha will open in early 2025.
