DAY PROGRAMMES
We provide day programmes for people with disabilities. Our day programmes are a community-based service, operating Monday to Friday in Palmerston North, Levin, Paraparaumu, and Lower Hutt.
Our day programme team will work in partnership with you and your support network to create a plan so we can support you with your long term aspirations and short-term goals.
We can provide 1:1 support and group sessions depending on the goals and needs of the individual
There are many activities you might like to be involved in through our day programmes, or you can do something else to build on your interests.
Some activities we get up to include:
u Cooking and baking
u Health and beauty
u Domestic and personal management skill training
u Education and learning
u Community safety and orientation
u Work and employment-related activities
u Art & crafts
u Music
u Movement and drama
u Getting out and about in the community
u Swimming
u Ten pin bowling
u Multi-sensory experiences
u Relaxation and massage
u Animal therapy
We support person-centred outcomes, where you have supports that are individually tailored to your needs, dreams, goals – whatever it is that you want to achieve.
